About me

After the loss of my best friend to ovarian cancer, I needed something to take the edge off. Substances didn’t work and the pain i felt in my heart was unimaginable. I have always loved foraging and finding bones and various dead things in my adventures and my favorite thing in this world is spending time in nature.

My collection of bones and skulls grew, I knew that creating art and honoring the dead I had in my collection would provide some relief to my aching soul.

I began sharing my creations online and kicked my production into high gear. Just as I assumed, my heart began to heal, and the feedback I was getting from friends and family was so encouraging.

It felt as though Alisha was standing over my shoulder feeding ideas into my ear. “Ooh, that looks pretty!” Or “How about we try THIS!” I locked myself into a room with nothing but my gorgeous animal remains and Alisha’s inspiration and fire.

Everything I make has Alisha’s soul in it, because it resides within my own. I can’t share my creations with her, but I can share them, and her, with the world.
