Death on Valentine’s Day

This gray fox skull was gifted to me in a taxidermy themed Valentine’s Day box my boyfriend had bought for me online. When I opened the large, red, glittered, heart shaped box, I had found that the centerpiece was destroyed beyond repair.

This piece fully embodies everything I stand for. Just because something is damaged and broken, doesn’t mean they cannot be made beautiful again.

This piece features a rather mangled half of a gray fox skull, lying peacefully among various types of moss with a genuine blue carpenter bee friend, amethyst tumble eye & a highly damaged quartz point. The fairly lights are battery operated and really gives this piece a magical feel. All is carefully tucked away annd protected in a small wooden & glass painted box.
